$1,000 Half Court Shot Winner
We will draw names to compete in a half-court shoooting contest. The first person to make a half-court shot wins $1,000.
What is Freedom Hoops?
We are a basketball ministry that outreaches youth and connect them to Christian mentors helping them follow Jesus off the court. We pray these mentoring relationships help welcome young men to the church and that one day these young men would mentor other young men transforming Kansas City.

In 2025 we reached 350 youth and had 1,000 life-on-life hours with youth outside of programming. We currently have 3 full-time staff and 1 part-time staff. We host programming at Mary Williams-Neal Community Center and Marlborough Community Center on Thursday nights from 6:00-8:30pm.
In 2026 we need 30 Christians mentors to faithfully mentor young men OFF the court. Our young men need to SEE what it looks like to follow Jesus - just as Jesus invited his disciples saying "Follow Me" and "Come and See." This "With me" time is so simple, yet crucial.
