We are dedicated to equipping the young people of the inner city to guide their community spiritually, economically, and socially. The Local Investment Commission (LINC)℠ is a non-profit organization that works with state and local government, businesses, community and civic leaders to improve the lives of children and families in the Kansas City region.

C YOU IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES FOUNDATION

“C” You In The Major Leagues strives to provide hope and support to children and families as we use youth baseball to develop future character-driven leaders.

The “C” You In the Major Leagues Foundation was founded by Kansas City Royals general manager Dayton Moore in January 2014 to support youth baseball, education, faith-based organizations and events, and families in crisis throughout the greater Kansas City area and beyond.

REDEEMER FELLOWSHIP CHURCH

Redeemer Fellowship is a church in Kansas City, Mo., that exists to cultivate communities of transformed disciples who live for the glory of God and the good of the city. 

​URBAN LEAGUE OF GREATER KANSAS CITY

The Urban League of Greater Kansas City seeks to enable African Americans and other disadvantaged persons to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights. To achieve that mission, they:
  • Ensure that children are well-educated and equipped for economic self-reliance
  • Help adults attain economic self-sufficiency through jobs, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation
  • Assistance in gaining access to quality affordable healthcare for all
  • Secure civil rights by removing barriers to equal participation in the economic and social mainstream.

JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT

Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City brings business back to the classroom by providing programs to promote financial literacy, inspire entrepreneurship, and prepare students (K-12) for success in a 21st century workplace.

JR. NBA

The Jr. NBA is the official youth basketball participation program of the NBA. The Jr. NBA includes a free, membership-based program for existing youth basketball leagues/organizations. The membership is to help encourage and support youth basketball participation and improve the overall youth basketball experience. The Jr. NBA overview and philosophy aims to develop a lifelong passion for the game of basketball in boys and girls by teaching them the fundamentals of the sport while instilling core values including teamwork, respect and sportsmanship.
