Kids Across America

We had such a great time at Kids Across America last week. We had the privilege of taking nine young men, age 10-17, to Kamp. It was the first camp experience for each of them. The highlight of the week was seeing five young men rededicate their lives to Christ and two young men make decisions to follow Christ for the first time.

Kids nowadays are trying to be basketball players, and that just makes me happy. I used to be a professional basketball player and my family used to look down on me. I know that it is not a conservative choice, but I really feel like being a basketball player is what makes me go. If I can play basketball for a living, then that is a life that I want. I hope that these kids make the most out of this opportunity.
